Rip off

This is a complete rip off of robot unicorn attack!

Okay the art might be yourself, and you added a vague story, but when it comes down to it, it's exactly the same game! You even used the same animal just added some wings!

Nice

It was a really nice game, shame the idea is basically the same as the other.

Art, music and control are all really well done

Only problem is the difficulty of level 3, the increase is just stupid

- However there are more efficient ways of doing this, for example recording the last x, y coordinates and storing them in code, avoiding the need to create an empty movieclip to do it for you. Also, I know this wasn't really part of the tutorial, but the circle collision for the buttons wasn't great, it was bouncing off at the wrong angles ;) and if you moved your mouse after touching the button you could move the ball without it being dragged.

Ohh and add a mute button.

The thing after the main tutorial was pretty cool though.

frustrating

it was a well put together game and the music was good....but the way that the elephant kept moving to the left so fast was so frustrating! it moves faster to the left than the actual objects did, so you could jump over one object then you'd slide to the left and hit the one you just jumped over it was really annoying and ruined the game for me

other than that it was a very nice game the music was excellent and went nicely with the game, and the graphics were great as always

very good...and it does work....but you should have shown examples at the end...

not very good for a tutorial...

Cons:
- presentation was messy and could be much more appealing with very little effort used.
- not really a "tutorial" more of a copy and pasting exercise...

instead of the "==" just use less than signs, then wahtever the number is below 0 it will take you to win or lose

good start on the engine, just add more attacks and a story, and try to either use all sprites, or no sprites, keep it consistant

hmm..

it isn't so much a tutorial as a copy and paste. You don't explain much of it if any. maybe in your next you should explain all the code, spread it out over a few frames

ummm amazing game, and i can play it for ages without getting bored....but answer me one thing..
why the fuck does Dr Herregods have 1000000 hp?
it jsut isn't nice. i can only get him down like 3/4 of the way =/

good start

this had a really good start to it, but eventually it just came down to making a flash file then sleeping until it was complete. it did have a lot of content and did keep me entertained for a while. however it did get a it repetative. Not really sure how to fix this, but if you think of a way, it will be a lot better.

Do most coding in AS2. I can use AS3 just as well, I just find AS2 more forgiving and more fun to mess around with. I normally make more engines than full games, just testing what I can do :)
